Elmer Bernstein Arista Records. Produced by Elmer Bernstein Performed by Elmer Bernstein American film composer Bernstein was a graduate of Julliard. His first major recognition came from the score for Man with the Golden Arm (1955). He continued to score important films throughout his illustrious career, continuing well into the's. Among the several hundred titles to Bernstein's credit include The Ten Commandments (1956), The Magnificent Seven (1960), To Kill a Mockingbird (1962), The Great Escape (1963), Hawaii (1966), and Thoroughly Modern Millie (1967) for which he won his only Oscar. Bernstein's more recent work includes such well-known scores as Ghostbusters (1984 ), Cape Fear (1991), A River Runs Through It (1992), The Age of Innocence (1993) and Devil In A Blue Dress (1995). | Where in the Movie?
